Thank you for visiting our website. We want to get to know you and for you to experience the character of our congregation. We are a community of people on a spiritual journey together in New York City. We are striving to grow in devotion to God and in service to people. We are by no means perfect, but we do trust in a perfect and loving God.

Mission Statement:

We Seek -

To Worship and Glorify God,
To Proclaim the Message of Jesus Christ,
To Study and Follow the Bible,
To Create a Loving, Diverse Community,
To Serve People in Need.

Our Beliefs in Brief:

The Bible:
We honor the Bible as God's living Word, which reveals Christ and guides every aspect of our lives, both as individuals and as a church community.

Commitment:
We seek to love God through worship, share the good news of Jesus, honor the Bible as God's Word, care for one another with compassion, and serve the physical and spiritual needs of a hurting world.

Community:
We are a community where strangers become friends and friends become family, sharing life’s celebrations and challenges together. Everyone is invited to find a home here, regardless of gender, sexual orientation, race, or any part of their identity or background, you are welcome here.

Communion:
Each Sunday, we share Communion, a simple meal that reminds us of Jesus’ sacrifice and centers our hearts on the new life we have in Him.

Diversity:
We celebrate the diversity God has created and welcome people of all backgrounds into a community of grace, compassion, and mutual growth.

History:
Founded in 1810, our congregation has deep roots in New York City and the Stone-Campbell Restoration Movement. We are proudly independent, committed to Scripture, and united by a vision of simple, Christ-centered faith.

Organization:
Every Christian is a minister. Our church is led by elders, deacons, and ministry leaders who encourage everyone to use their gifts in service to God and one another.

Worship:
Our worship is simple, Spirit-filled, and participatory, with a cappella singing at its heart. This tradition invites everyone’s voice and reflects the early Christian practice of communal praise.
