WHAT?
The Alpha Course is a fun, free, zero-pressure, 10-week introduction to the Christian faith. Listen, learn, discuss and discover.
Alpha is for everyone, especially:
- Those wanting to investigate Christianity
- New Christians
- Newcomers to the church
- Couples preparing for marriage
- Those who want to brush up on the basics
WHEN?
We are beginning a new course on Friday, March 28 at 7:00 PM on the 4th floor of the Manhattan Church of Christ. The course is 10 consecutive weeks with an Alpha Weekend Away (retreat) scheduled for May 16-18. The course will end Friday, June 20.
WHERE?
It will take place at the Manhattan Church building (48 E. 80 btwn: Park and Madison Ave) on the 4th floor.
WHAT TO EXPECT?
We will have dinner, listen to a talk, and end with a small group discussion where no question is too simple or too hostile.
HOW TO HELP?
There are four ways in which you can help with the Alpha Course:
- You can commit to pray for this ministry and lift up those who lead the course and those who take the course.
- You can commit to be on a team that helps provide the food for this ministry.
- You can be a "gatherer" of friends, family and neighbors who might be interested in taking this course.
- You can take the course yourself and accompany your invited guests.
